THE ROADRUNNERS BEAT MODESTO 45-38 ON SATURDAY BUT ITS NOT ALL ROSES IN
THE LAND OF THE ROADRUNNER
Despite being undefeated at 5-0, the Butte College Roadrunner football team can not play with the lack of consistency we have seen of late. Falling behind 21-6 at Delta and coughing up a 28 point lead at home on Saturday are indications the Roadrunners are far from a finished product.
Head coach Jeff Jordan has been telling anyone within ear-shot that his team is good, but in many respects just getting by. He has not been happy with some of their recent practices and he sees that translation into sloppy play on Saturday afternoons.
There is still time to iron out their issues......Jeff Jordan will make sure of it.
