The Happy Camp Complex of wildfires continues to burn in Siskiyou County. Lightning strikes are said to have caused the blazes near Happy Camp in the early morning hours of August 12th. The wildfires have burned over 27 thousand acres and are still around 20 percent contained. A mandatory evacuation has been issued for the area of Scott Valley Road and Bridge Flat to the intersection of Highway 96. An Advisory Evacuation has been issued for the area north of Highway 96 between Scott River Road and Grider Creek.
