A weekend sex offender check in Shasta County leads to arrests for parole violation, among other charges. Shasta County Sheriffs conducted a SAFE (Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement) operation.
The aim was to make sure people convicted of sex offenses were at the proper address and were in compliance with their terms of parole. One person was arrested for violating his parole, while authorities apprehended 11 others for various charges such as possession of a controlled substance.
