3rd District Congressman John Garamendi of Fairfield has introduced legislation that will fully fund infrasturcture to maximize efficeincy that will include real-time monitoring of endangered fish to assure their protection while at the sametime maximizing water deliveries. The bill will also provide short-term relief to communities hardest hit by the state's drought.
California lawmakers in Congress have reportedly been trying for the last three years to produce a plan to that would deal with the state's drought, but with little success.
