Quentin Bealer has been found guilty of first degree murder. The jury of 9 men and three women reached the verdict Tuesday afternoon, and it was read around 9 this morning. Bealer was convicted of the 2013 murder of 14-year-old Marysa Nichols in Red Bluff. The case is being heard in Sacramento County after being moved from Tehama County. A first degree murder sentence carries a maximum penalty of 25-years-to-life in prison. No word yet on when his sentencing will take place.
