A man is injured in scuffle with a suspicious person in Chico. A man reportedly saw a transient looking into vehicles in a parking lot on the six hundred block of Nord Avenue. Police say that instead of immediately calling the cops the unidentified man attempted to detain the transient. The suspect allegedly hit the man on the head with a flashlight causing a struggle between the two men. The suspect hit the man again with the flashlight and took off. The victim was reportedly not seriously injured. The victim could only describe the suspect as a white male around 35-years-old.
