Chico Narcotics Arrest

Butte County agents make an arrest after finding several pounds of meth. Agents from the Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of 49-year-old Ann Vance on Purcell Lane in Chico, last week. Vance reportedly took off in a vehicle but was later stopped and detained. Agents allegedly found 8.4 pounds of methamphetamine in the vehicle. They also searched the residence and reportedly found 6 more ounces of meth and over $106,000. Later that day agents searched a local storage unit and allegedly found over 10 pounds of meth, half an ounce of heroin, multiple guns - one of which was reported stolen, and over 103,000. The street value of the narcotics seized had a conservative estimated street value of more than $112,000
