According to Cal Fire, the Camp Fire has increased to 70,000 acres and is 5 percent contained.

Around 15,000 structures are threatened.

At a Cal Fire operational briefing this morning - officials stated that the town of Magalia was impacted by the fire around 2am this morning. They said the fire is now well north of Magalia. Officials said that they anticipate that the fire will be in Sterling City by 10 this morning.
