The California Water Service is suspending all collections and related shut off activities during this time due to the Camp Fire. Officials with the Water Service say customers to NOT worry about their water bills if you have been impacted or if you prefer to pay in person you can. Officials also say that they have extended payment options if you need assistance.

Officials with the Water Service also want to assure their customers in Chico that the Camp Fire has not affected the Cal Water Systems in Chico. They say the drinking water meets all state and federal water quality standards and is safe to consume.
