Two Arrested in Tehama County on Pot Charges

Two men from Washington state have been arrested in Tehama County for allegedly growing marijuana. Investigators with the Tehama County District Attorney's Office searched a Rory Lane property in Cottonwood Thursday. Officials say they found 180 pot plants and a gun. The DA's Office says David Mendoza and Luis Mendoza came to California earlier this year to allegedly grow marijuana under the guise of the state's medical marijuana law.
