CPD Identifies Victim of Fatal Stabbing

Chico Police have identified the 53 year old woman who was stabbed to death early Thursday morning.  Police say Diane Luke was stabbed once on West Sacramento Avenue and was taken to a local hospital, but didn't survive her injuries.   30 year old Shanda Mollison has been arrested on suspicion of murder.   Police say the motive in the fatal stabbing is still under investigation.
