Law Enforcement Shuts Down Red Bluff Neighborhood after Bear Found in Tree

Police blocked off a Red Bluff neighborhood Sunday afternoon, after an adult black bear was discovered in a tree.    Police say the bear was in the area of Countryside Drive.  The Department of Fish and Game tranquilized the animal, hoisted it out of the tree, and removed it from the residential area.   Police say the neighborhood was blocked off for more than 5 hours.
