The North Valley Community Foundation is granting nearly one million dollars to Butte County schools affected by the Camp Fire. The foundation announced Tuesday that 455 thousand dollars of the 965 thousand donation will go to Paradise, Magalia, and Concow schools. This includes public, private, charter, and preschools. The remaining schools receiving grants will go directly to supporting hosting students impacted by the Camp Fire.

According to a press release from the foundation, the Grant came through a generous donation from Ken Grossman and Katie Gonser of Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.
