Tehama County authorities making two arrests in a pot bust this week. The District Attorney's Office says investigators conducted a parole search in Red Bluff as part of an undercover operation involving marijuana. Investigators located nearly 50 pounds of pot and more than 20 marijuana plants. 59 year old Bret Phillips and 57 year old Arlita Wayman were arrested on drug charges.
In a separate case, the Tehama County Sheriff's Office says a search of a Cottonwood home turned up pot, meth, and guns as investigators probed an alleged shooting. 56 year old Michael Bruce was arrested Wednesday. He was accused of shooting vehicle tires during a confrontation with a Red Bluff woman over money. The Sheriff's Office says they found more than 120 pounds of processed marijuana during the search.
