Shasta College Student Suffers Head Injury During Chico Fight

Chico Police say a Shasta College student suffered a life-threatening head injury during a local fight.  Police say 21 year old Tyler Burton was part of a group involved in a confrontation with another group walking on West 8th Street early Sunday morning.  Burton was reportedly punched in the head and knocked to the pavement...he suffered significant head trauma.   Police arrested the alleged attacker, identified as 20 year old Andres Rodriguez, for assault with great bodily injury.
