Dozens of Weekend Arrests in Chico

Dozens of people arrested in Chico during the weekend leading up to Halloween.  Chico Police say during a 48 hour period, the department received 871 calls for service, with more than 300 of those in the downtown and south campus area.  Police say that's considerably higher than a normal weekend.  74 people were arrested.  Chico Police say there were two felony assaults and two sexual assaults reported over the weekend.
