Chico Police arrest an alleged vehicle thief. An officer spotted a Toyota Tacoma at the Mobile Gas Station at Cohasset Road and Manzanita Avenue after 2:30 this morning that was reported to be stolen. A high-risk traffic stop was conducted and the driver, 36-year-old Elin Carson was taken into custody. According to a Chico Police press release, Carson was also the subject of a Post Release Community Supervision felony arrest warrant. Officers reportedly found stolen property in the truck.
