Officers were dispatched to a pickup crash at a bridge in northwest Chico early this morning.

The Chevy truck reportedly hit a guardrail and then went 20 feet off of a bridge on Nord Highway at Hosler Avenue just after midnight. According to the CHP, the vehicle landed on its wheels in the water. The driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Chico Police believe the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.
