Dozens Involved in NorCal Gang Confrontation

Dozens of alleged gang members were involved in a confrontation in Yuba City Sunday during a Hmong New Year's Celebration.  The Appeal Democrat newspaper reports the incident involved about 70 gang members.  The Yuba County Sheriff's Office was providing security for the event...a department spokesman says one deputy was hit with a chair and deputies used batons and pepper spray during the confrontation.   No serious injuries were reported.
