Officers were called out to the intersection of Broadway and West 2nd streets just after 2 Saturday afternoon for a reported robbery. A man told officers that he had just been assaulted and his personal property taken from him. Officer quickly located the alleged suspect, identified as 26-year-old Jovontai Glaspie on the 200 block of West 3rd Street. He was booked into the Butte County Jail for robbery. Police say the victim was not seriously injured.
