5 Arrested in Chico Following Large Weekend Fight

Chico Police say it took 19 officers to restore the peace following a large weekend fight involving an "out of control crowd."  The Police Department says officers found a large, hostile crowd at a Nord Avenue apartment complex early Sunday morning with people still fighting.  Police say the crowd would not follow commands and acted aggressively toward officers.  All available on duty officers were sent to help handle the crowd.   Five people were arrested.
