News Camp Fire Grants For Ridge Schools

Grants have been given to schools and students from Paradise and Magalia. The Aaron Rodgers NorCal Fire Recovery Fund at the North Valley Community Foundation has awarded more than $175,000 through 13 grants.

 

According to an NVCF press release,

 

$24,900 has been given for the buying of yearbooks for all Paradise High School students this year and for yearbooks from previous years to give to seniors who lost those keepsakes.

 

$50,000 is for equipment and supplies for a modular athletic training room at Paradise High School.

 

$25,000 is for over 100 sixth-grade students in the Paradise Unified School District to attend the Shady Creek Environmental Camp.

 

$14,300 has been given for 50 fifth-grade students in the Paradise Unified School District go to an overnight field trip to San Francisco.

 

$1,700 for tricycles, soccer balls, sand play toys, and other recess play equipment at Ponderosa Elementary School.
