Chico Police investigated threats made at Pleasant Valley High School. Two students were reportedly involved in an altercation on campus when one of the students allegedly made threats to the other student on Tuesday. Police say students overheard those threats and it was reportedly relayed to other students on social media. Chico Police school resource officers assisted the Pleasant Valley High administration in an investigation into the situation. According to a Chico Police press release, after searches of both the school and private residences were conducted along with interviews with witnesses it was determined that there was no credible threat to the safety of students or staff.
