Red Bluff Students Social Media Threats Arrests

Social media threats lands two Red Bluff students behind bars. The School Resource Officer for Vista School arrived before 8 Wednesday morning and learned that two male students ages 13 and 14 had reportedly threatened a female student using social media. The suspects allegedly threatened to shoot the victim and reportedly sent her photographs of themselves with firearms. Officers from the Red Bluff Police Department and the Tehama County D-A's Office then arrived to the school to investigate. According to a Red Bluff Police Department press release, one suspect was located at the school and the other at his residence. Authorities say neither student was found in possession of firearms at the time of their arrest.
