A measure to help schools in the wake of the Camp Fire has passed the Assembly Education Committee. AB 297 by North State Assemblyman James Gallagher passed the committee with unanimous support. It helps out with the State Funding for those schools that experienced attendance loss due to the fire. The measure also includes local charter schools.
