The North Valley Community Foundation has released nearly $100,000 in grants for Camp Fire recovery this week.

According to a NVCF press release, this week's grants, approved by a majority of the NVCF board of directors, include the following:

$25,000 went to the Paradise Police K-9 Unit to continue the current K-9 unit and to add and train a new K-9.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue also received $25,000. They have taken in 150 displaced pets and provided food and services at low to no cost for Camp Fire survivors.

$24,000 went to the Chico Housing Action Team to repair a transitional house designated for sheltering individuals disspalced by the Camp Fire.

The rest of the funding went to various organizations and local schools.
