A woman who was taking care of a home on Mill Street while the owner was away for medical treatment, opened the door and reportedly found two people sleeping inside around 11 Wednesday morning. She immediately called Chico Police who sent officers to the residence where they contacted 27-year-old Brandon Heaton and 36-year-old Leslie Montgomery. Officers reportedly found some of the homeowner's property in Montgomery's possession, along with methamphetamine. Heaton was also found with a wallet that police say didn't belong to him. Both were arrested for burglary.
