Officers responded to the five hundred block of Pomona Avenue after a report of a robbery just before 2 this morning. Officers arrived and found a 31-year-old man suffering from a minor injury. He was treated and released at the scene. According to the Chico Police, the victim told officers that a man dressed in dark clothing and armed with a gun along with a woman allegedly contacted him at his residence. Police say the motive is under investigation but they say the encounter appears to have been initiated via a dating app.
