Another step forward Wednesday for Assemblyman James Gallagher's housing production bill. Assembly Bill 430 passed the Senate Governance and Finance Committee with bi partisan support Wednesday. It aims to help alleviate the housing crisis in Butte County after the Camp Fire by streamlining the environmental reveiw process for certain housing projects. The bill now goes to the Senate Appropriations Committee and Gallagher told us he's hoping the measure can be before the full Senate and Assembly and on the Governor's desk by August.
