CSUC Student Injured in Weekend Accident

A Butte College student arrested following a major injury accident in Chico early Saturday morning.  Chico Police say 20 year old Matthew Lambert was arrested for misdemeanor DUI after allegedly hitting a 21 year old Chico State student with a truck on Walnut Street.   Police say Brandon Fisher was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.  Officers say at this point in the investigation, it appears Fisher walked into the roadway in front of the pick up.
