31-year-old Nicholas Smith was reported missing Monday night after he called a friend and told them that he was possibly lost in Upper Bidwell Park. A Search and Rescue team went into early this morning, but was called off until 5 am when further personnel could assist with specialized equipment. Police say they have not yet found Smith.

Anyone who has had any contact with Smith since he's been reported missing is asked to contact the Chico Police Department at 897-4900.
