Butte County Murder Suspect Commits Suicide in Missouri

A Stockton man wanted in connection with a Yankee Hill murder has reportedly committed suicide in Missouri. The Butte County Sheriff's Office says Paul Moreno was a suspect in the fatal shooting of David Groves Jr.  His body was found in a grave on Lower Gulch Road in August.  The Sheriff's Office says Moreno had left California to avoid capture.  He reportedly committed suicide in November.  Deputies say they're still investigating those involved with Moreno before and after the killing.
