A Corning man pleads guilty to a drunk driving collision that killed a Cal-Trans worker on Highway 99. The Butte County District Attorney's Office says 48 year old Russell Hodge will be sentenced to 15 years to life in prison next month. Hodge pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. Prosecutors say he drove his truck through a roadblock in 2010, killing Cal-Trans employee Gary Smith. The victim had been diverting traffic around another fatal collision on the highway.
