Three separate stabbings in Chico Sunday. Chico Police say a man allegedly stabbed two people with a pair of scissors during a fight on Nord Avenue around 9 PM. 32 year old Joverly Rayford was taken into custody. Meanwhile, police were called to The Handle Bar on 20th Street a short time later, where a juvenile allegedly attacked
two men. One victim was hospitalized...as of this morning, he was listed in stable condition. Chico Police arrested the juvenile suspect in that stabbing on Notre Dame Boulevard. The Butte County Sheriff's Office says a woman reported being assaulted from behind while running along Guntren Road in north Chico Sunday morning. Authorities say she had an apparent knife wound to her side. At last report, no suspect had been identified in that case.
