Three Injured in Two Chico Stabbings

Three people injured in two Chico stabbings less than an hour apart. Chico Police say a local transient was stabbed in the leg just after 8 PM Monday during an argument with another man at One Mile. A short time later, officers were notified that two stabbing victims were at a local hospital. Police say the 19 year old victims were injured in a fight on Holly Avenue. One victim needed surgery. Police arrested 18 year old John Jenkins III for assault with a deadly weapon.
