Butte County Official says New Medical Pot Ordinance Deals with Nuisance Issues, not Permits

The man who oversees Butte County's Code Enforcement sees some big changes in the county's new Medical Marijuana Cultivation Ordinance. Tim Snellings says this is not a permitting program.



Snelling says the other big change in the ordinance is a person must be within a thousand feet of a property to lodge a complaint. Snellings is Director of the County's Development Services Department. He was on the committee drafting a new ordinance, which goes before Butte Supervisors today.
