Oroville Leaders Look at Ways to Cut City Expenses


The city of Oroville looking at what to cut to eliminate a 1-point-5 million dollar deficit.  The Oroville Mercury Register reports the city manager is asking city staff and council members to suggest options to help balance next year's  budget and trim more than 12 percent in expenses.  So far, suggestions range from a shorter work week to selling city property.   City Council members will focus on the budget at a March 7th meeting.
