Man Sentenced for Butte County Fatal Crash

The man who admitted to killing a Cal -Trans worker more than 2 years ago gets 15 years to life in state prison. Corning resident Russell Hodge got the sentence for hitting and killing Gary Smith on Highway 99 north of Chico. The incident took place in November of 2010. When arrested, Hodge reportedly had a blood alcohol count of more than twice the legal limit.
