CPD Prepares for St. Patrick's Day

Chico Police preparing for parties and alcohol-related problems this weekend, as St. Patrick's Day falls on Sunday. The Police Department plans to increase staffing beginning today. The agency will also get help this weekend from local Sheriff's Departments, Alcohol Beverage Control agents, and Chico State Police. Last year, officials made more than 50 arrests around St. Patrick's Day.
