MAGALIA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a 72-year-old man in connection with a stolen car found burning with three bodies inside in Butte County. The local Sheriff's Office said Thursday that Donald Clark was taken into custody and booked into jail on suspicion of murder and arson. He is being held on more than $3 million bail. The burning car, which was reported stolen to Sacramento police, was discovered on June 13 in Magalia. Two bodies were in the trunk and a third was in the backseat. Sheriff's Lt. Al Smith says investigators worked around the clock to find answers in the case. Sheriff's officials say they each had gunshot wounds. They have been tentatively identified as Sacramento residents, but authorities are not releasing names.
