A man was taken to the hospital by ambulance after he was hit by a car in Chico late Sunday. The collision happened around 10:15 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Nord Avenue near the Royal Palms Mobile Home Park. Officials say a man was crossing the street in the dark when he was hit. He went to Enloe Medical Center in an ambulance. No information was immediately available about the severity of the man's injuries. Police say ther was no indication or drugs or alcohol as a cause for the accident..
