SF to Ban Guns in Public Places
Banning guns in San Francisco. City leaders are pushing for a new law to do just that at parks, restaurants, supermarkets, churches, election facilities and other public places. They say people need to feel safe when they go out, given the increase in shootings over the last several days. That includes a block party in the Mission District and a nightclub near Balboa Park. The legislation is expected to be voted on before the end of next month.
