Paradise Man Going to Prison for Murder of his Father

A Paradise man was sentenced to 26 years to life in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for murdering his father, the Placer County District Attorney's Office says James Shade, 32, was sentenced Friday for the premeditated first-degree murder of his father with use of a deadly weapon. on May 18, a Placer County jury found Shade guilty of first-degree murder of his father and they also found that Shade used a deadly weapon in connection of the murder that happened at the fathers residence in Roseville in 2021.
