CHP Red Bluff said five people are dead and one majorly injured following a two-car crash on Interstate 5 south of Liberal Avenue near Corning just before 1 pm Saturday Afternoon . Officials say a car driving northbound on Interstate 5 crossed the center divide and hit a truck pulling a travel trailer. The driver and all three passengers in the car were killed . The driver of the truck died as well, and the one passenger was sent to the hospital with major injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
