State Lawmaker Pushes Back on MediCal for Illegal Migrants
Efforts are underway to change a new state law. California became the first in the nation this week to provide health insurance to undocumented immigrants. But Assemblyman Bill Essayli claims the state can't afford it given a projected 68-billion dollar deficit. He just introduced a bill to stop taxpayers from funding the law. He says it's "unconscionable" to spend billions caring for people from other countries before Americans.
