A Chico man was sentenced in Butte County Superior court Thursday to a term of 25 years to life in state prison under California's three-strikes law for forcibly raping a local woman, Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey said. Leonard Wilson, 41, was sentenced following his plea to one count of forcible rape and an admission that he had suffered two prior convictions in 2003 when he was sentenced to 14 years in state prison.
