An Oroville woman was arrested Wednesday for a deadly hit-and-run. On Dec. 29, 2023, police responded to a hit-and-run in the area of Feather River Cinemas located at 2690 Feather River Blvd, which killed 56-year-old Gail McLroy of Oroville. During the initial investigation, police said they located damaged silver-colored vehicle debris at the scene. Officers obtained video footage from nearby businesses confirming that the suspect's vehicle was a silver sedan. Oroville police were able to use their Automated License Plate Reader System to identify Elora Hubbard, 33, of Oroville, as the driver, she was arrested and faces charges.
