AARON RODGERS AND THE GREEN BAY PACKERS GET HOSED ON A LAST SECOND DISPUTED CALL BY REPLACEMENT REFEREES IN FRONT OF A NATIONAL TELEVISION AUDIENCE
It was not only a bad call, it may have been the most egregious call in the history of regular season football. A hail-mary heave by Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks was caught by Green Bay defensive back M.D. Jennings. Interception ! Right ? Not so fast.
One of the replacement officials ruled that Seattle wide receiver Golden Tate of the Seahawks had caught the ball for a touchdown. Video clearly showed Jennings catching the ball at its apex, only to have Tate try and wrestle the ball away.
Amazingly after a video replay, the replay officials agreed with the on-field replacement referees giving Seattle a disputed 14-12 win.
Chico's own Aaron Rodgers was disgusted by the call
The replacement officials were feeling the heat already, its now become a pressure cooker.
