For the second time in three years the San Francisco Giants are baseball's best team. The Giants completed one of the most amazing post-season turn-arounds by sweeping the Detroit Tigers 4-0 with a 4-3 win in 10 innings on Sunday night.

The Giants win their 7th World Championship in franchise history after memorable comebacks in both the National League Divisional Playoff against Cincinnati and in the National League Championship Series against St. Louis.

Game 4 started with the Giants jumping out in front 1-0 on a Brandon Belt RBI triple, but Triple-Crown winner Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run homer to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead. The Giants would strike right back in the 6th as Buster Posey, hitting only .196 in the post-season would hit a hanging change-up down the left field line for a two-run homer......

After Delmon Young homered in the bottom of the 6th to tie the game at 3-3. Both teams turned the game over to their bullpens. In the 10th, Ryan Theriot led off with a single to right. After being sacrificed into scoring position......Marco Scutaro with two outs would stride to the plate. And, just like he has all season long as a Giant he would come up with the World Series game-winning hit.....

Bruce Bochy would bring in Sergio Romo. And, Romo would strike out the first two Tiger hitters in the 10th...bringing up Cabrera. After throwing him five straight sliders, the count was 2-2 and the Giants were one strike away from the 2012 World Series Title....

For the Giants it was an amazing run of dominance after falling behind 3-to-1 in the NLCS against the Cardinals.

Hunter Pence, the mid-season acquisition and spiritual leader for the Giants says there was no-die in San Francisco....

The ace of the Giants staff in the post-season was Ryan Vogelsong who turned in great start, after great start for the entire post-season run. The journeyman says it is a dream come true....

Giants second baseman Marco Scutaro was nails for the entire post-season. He says winning a World Series title is the goal of every big leaguer.....

Giants manager Bruce Bochy says he couldn't be more proud of a group of players.....

Giants pitcher Barry Zito was a target for Giants fans for several seasons. After signing a 126 million dollar contract, Zito had not lived up to expectations. But his 2012 campaign was filled with clutch performances and great efforts that were signatures on the Giants 2012 story. He says failing for so many years taught him a lot making this journey so very sweet......

Former Giants great Will Clark says the 2012 San Francisco Giants were the definition of a true team...

The Giants World Series Championship parade will start on Halloween at 11am in San Francisco. The Giants win their second title in three years and their 7th in the 129 year history of the franchise.
