Vitalant, not-for-profit since 1948, is dedicated to providing blood and services to those in need.

For precautions against COVID-19, Vitalant has implemented the following:
 - We are asking all of our blood donors to bring their own mask or face covering, provided they meet the CDC guidelines, to wear during their donation.  An initial temperature reading will be taken at pre-registration.
 - Appointments are strongly encouraged for social distancing and walk-ins may be limited.
 - Our blood drive set-ups demonstrate social distancing and our staff wear gloves and personal protective gear.  We also wipe down donor-touched areas often and after every collection using a disinfectant.
 - For social distancing, we ask donors to refrain from bringing additional people who are not donating (including children).
 - Only healthy people are encouraged to give blood. Donors must be feeling well and free of respiratory illness symptoms, including fever, to be eligible to donate.
 - Donors who meet certain travel and other at-risk criteria for coronavirus infection are deferred from donating and if you have questions on your recent travel, please refer to the following guidelines: Travel Guidelines [LINK]
